Had to pick between Everdell and Wingspan for my game shelf

I only had room for one big box game and went with Everdell because I liked the theme more, but now I'm wondering if Wingspan would have gotten more play with my group. Anyone else make a similar call and regret it?

Regret? Over a board game? Cmon man it's not like you bought a timeshare. Everdell is solid, your group will either vibe with the worker placement and cute critters or they won't. Wingspan is popular but it's basically just bird solitaire with extra steps lol. Worst case you trade it on BGG marketplace later, it's not that deep.

Wingspan isn't solitaire, you can mess with other players' food chains by taking the dice they need from the birdfeeder. Just saying.
