Finally passed my UA 63 pipe cert on the third try last Thursday
That 6G root on 2 inch schedule 80 kicked my butt twice before I slowed my travel speed down and finally got a clean bend test, and now I'm curious how many of you failed your first cert attempt before it clicked.

slowed my travel speed down" is the part that matters. Most guys fail because they're running too hot and don't want to admit it. Third try tells me you actually changed something instead of just praying harder.

Wait, THIRD try? That means the first two times you were probably barreling in way too fast and just hoping it would work out. Most people quit after one fail, so sticking with it and actually slowing down says a lot. Glad the change paid off instead of you just grinding the same mistake over and over.
