Finally switching from manual to digital leveling after 12 years

I've been a die-hard manual level guy since I started at the shipyard in Norfolk back in 2012. Last month a younger guy on my crew let me borrow his digital level for a boiler flange alignment job. After fighting with a bubble for 20 minutes and getting it wrong twice, the digital one had it dead on in 5 seconds. He showed me how it stores measurements too, which would have saved me a ton of headaches on a big tank job last fall. Has anyone else made the switch and found it worth the money for the good brands?

Hey man, I get the appeal but I'm still team bubble. There's something about trusting your own eye and feel that a digital readout just can't replace, and batteries always die at the worst possible moment.

Heard from my buddy @gavin928 his battery died mid-reading and he went back to bubble that same afternoon.
