Love it, I painted my bathroom hot pink and mustard yellow once and it turned out amazing.

Man that's a bold move, gotta give your cousin credit for the suggestion and you credit for actually following through. Burnt umber and electric lime is a combo that could go really wrong or really right, hope it's the latter. In my experience, when someone tries something this out there, it either makes the room feel alive or makes you want to repaint ASAP. Take this with a grain of salt, but I'd say give it at least a week before you decide if you hate it. Sometimes those wild colors grow on you after you live with them for a while. Hope you're liking it so far, that's a gutsy kitchen choice for sure.
