Hit 150 houseplants this weekend and now I'm split on whether it's a good thing

I was doing my weekly watering routine on Saturday and counted out of curiosity. 150 exactly. That's more than I ever planned for. On one hand my living room looks like a jungle and I love it, on the other hand I spent almost 4 hours just checking soil and leaves. Some of my friends say it's awesome and others think I have a problem. Has anyone else hit a surprise number like this and felt torn about it?

Holy crap, 4 hours? That's wild. I got to about 90 last year and it already feels like a part-time job just keeping them alive. You're basically running a small greenhouse in your living room at this point.

Nah, I gotta push back a little. 90 plants is a solid setup but 4 hours a day? That's not a greenhouse, that's a full-blown addiction. I've got like 60 and it takes me maybe 20 minutes to water in the morning and another 20 to spot-check for pests or droopy leaves. The real time sink is repotting and propagating, sure, but that's not a daily thing. Most of them just sit there and thrive if you get their light and soil right. You're treating them like they need a babysitter every single day.
