Saw my local hardware store's sign get a subtle refresh after 15 years

The old, cluttered logo with a tiny saw and hammer is now a clean, bold wordmark with a single tool icon. It feels more trustworthy, like they've kept up with the times. Has anyone else seen a small business rebrand that actually improved their image?

Yeah, that clean look really does make a difference. It just feels more professional and like they care about their shop. Makes you want to go in.

Actually a super clean place can feel kind of cold and fake sometimes. It makes me wonder if they spent more on looks than on good products or fair prices. I'd rather see a bit of honest mess that shows real work happens there.
