Hit 50,000 bricks laid in 12 years with zero callbacks for bad work

Just counted my job logs last night and realized I have laid 50,000 bricks since starting out, and not one customer has ever called me back to fix a crack or a wobble - has anyone else kept track of their numbers over the years?

Yeah, but don't you think most homeowners won't even notice bad brickwork until their window frames start cracking or water is pouring into the basement? Waiting that long for a callback kinda defeats the whole point of keeping a zero record.

50,000 bricks with zero callbacks doesn't really prove much if you're not doing the hard jobs. Anyone can lay a straight wall on a simple foundation with good weather and easy access. I'd be more impressed if you showed some numbers on the tricky stuff like arches, curves, or anything with rebar work mixed in. Also, most people don't even know what to look for with bricks until something falls apart years later, so a callback now doesn't mean your work holds up forever. Give it another 10 years and see if that zero still holds when the ground shifts and the mortar starts aging out.
