Overheard a lady at the grocery store say she freezes her leftover herbs...
I was standing in the produce aisle last Tuesday and this woman told her friend she chops up parsley and cilantro and freezes them in ice cube trays with a little oil. She said it saves her from buying fresh bunches that go bad after a few days. I tried it with a bunch of basil I got for 99 cents and now I just pop a cube into my pasta sauce. Has anyone else done this with other herbs or veggies?

Yeah I tried the oil trick and my ice cubes came out looking like sad little herb fossils.
