Hit 50 free nights last year just using credit card points
I started funneling all my monthly bills and groceries through a travel rewards card about 18 months ago. By December I had enough points for 50 hotel nights without spending a dime extra on travel. Anyone else found a card that works well for stacking points fast?

Just a heads up, most travel cards cap the free night benefit at like 30-40k points per night tops. If you're hitting 50 nights that fast, you're probably getting some higher tier status or signup bonus credits mixed in there. Not hating, just saying those numbers might be a bit stretched with standard points alone.

I actually read somewhere that some of those flashy travel cards are getting stingier with the point values lately. Like you gotta watch the fine print on what counts as a "free night" and how many points they actually let you redeem.
