Hostels in Paris are charging $60 a night now, what a joke
I went to Paris last March and booked a dorm bed at a place near Gare du Nord. It was $60 per night for a bunk in a 12 person room with a broken locker. The free breakfast was a stale croissant and instant coffee. Meanwhile I walked past a hotel that had rooms for $80 on Booking.com. Hostels used to be the budget option but now they're just overpriced dorms. Anyone else noticed this trend in Europe?
