Just survived a canceled train in Prague with $12 left on my card
The conductor announced no refunds and the next train was 6 hours out, so I walked 3 miles to a hostel I found on hostelworld for $8 a night. Has anyone else had to pivot hard like that mid-trip?

Oh man, train cancellations in Europe are the absolute worst. Here's a pro tip: always keep a backup list of cheap hostels and bus routes saved offline on your phone. I've bailed on a train in some random German town before and found a FlixBus four towns over that saved my whole trip
