Used to book flights on Tuesday mornings because 'that's when deals drop'... now I just set price alerts and wait. Which side are you on?

Price alerts are the way to go now, no question. Tuesday morning deals were a thing like 10 years ago, airlines caught on and started messing with the algorithm so it's not reliable anymore. I've got alerts set for like 6 different routes and just wait for that sweet 20-30% drop, then book immediately. Plus you don't have to wake up early or check constantly, it just pings you when it's good. The only time Tuesday still works is for last minute flights or really specific off peak routes, otherwise it's a waste of time.

Right, because waking up at 5 AM to refresh a browser and squint at the same flights from yesterday is a GREAT use of my time. I remember when Tuesday morning felt like a SECRET handshake, now it's just a relic like dial up internet and paying for bags. Set those alerts, sit back, and let the computer do the work while I make toast.
