PSA: That split on my coffee table took 3 tries to fix right
I was building a walnut coffee table in my garage in Austin and got a nasty split right down the middle during glue-up. First attempt I just clamped it tighter and made it worse - cracked a second board. After 2 failed tries I finally used a biscuit joiner with some #20 biscuits and it held perfect. Anyone else ever fight a split that just kept getting worse?

Biscuit joiner saved my cherry table too after I messed it up twice.
