Spent $14 on a magnetic wristband for screws and it finally fixed my worst habit
For 2 months I kept losing screws while swapping hardware on cabinet doors, and I'd have to crawl around the floor hunting for them. I finally ordered a cheap magnetic wristband for $14 after a job in Cleveland took me 3 hours instead of 1. Now every screw sticks right to my wrist and I haven't dropped one since. It's a small thing but it made me realize the dumbest tools are sometimes the best ones. Anyone else have a cheap tool that quietly saved their sanity on a build?
Man, that wristband thing is real. I picked up one of those little magnetic trays at Harbor Freight for like 5 bucks and it does the same job for me. Sounds dumb but I stopped losing half my screws to the grass every time.
