Unpopular opinion: learning to draw a floor plan on graph paper beats any free app for a first remodel
Last Tuesday I sat with my neighbor Dave at his kitchen table in Boise while he sketched his 12x14 kitchen remodel on plain graph paper instead of opening the free app he downloaded. Forty minutes in, he caught a 3 foot gap where the fridge would block the pantry door, something the app never flagged because he never measured the swing. Has anyone else gone back to paper for early planning, or am I just old for thinking the pencil catches mistakes the phone misses?
