My 'perfect' bullet journal grid took 3 hours and a whole new ruler
I spent an entire evening trying to get the lines on my monthly spread perfectly straight, only to realize my old ruler was warped from being left in a sunny window. Has anyone else had a simple tool totally mess up a page?

Used to think rulers were foolproof until a bent one ruined my whole project.

Honestly, is a bent ruler really that big of a deal? Like yeah it would mess up one line, but you could just toss it and grab another one. I get that it's annoying but acting like it "ruined your whole project" feels dramatic. Unless you were building a house or something crazy precise, a quick redo with a straight edge probably fixed it. People love to blame tools instead of their own mistakes sometimes, you know? Ngl, I've bent rulers on purpose and still got the job done fine.
