PSA: Stop trusting phone haptics for confirm vs cancel, my banking app just cost me $40
Last week I tapped what felt like the confirm buzz on my credit union app in Denver and it was actually the cancel one, so my rent check bounced and I ate a $40 fee. Both buttons give the exact same short tick, no difference in length or strength, which makes the whole thing useless. Anyone know an Android app where confirm and cancel actually feel different?
Why does everything now feel like a gamble where the house always wins? You pay extra for a feature that's supposed to make things better and half the time it just does nothing or breaks in a month. Same thing with smart home stuff, cheap chargers, even food delivery apps that charge you more for cold fries. @terry_mitchell is right that it's a coin flip, but the real scam is that we keep buying the coin.
