That little rubber nub on my car's turn signal stalk failed after 2 years and now I can't drive without looking down
Two years ago I got a 2019 Honda Civic and the turn signal stalk had this perfect little rubber nub that I could find with my thumb without ever moving my eyes off the road. Last week the nub finally wore down to nothing, so now every time I signal left I have to glance down at the stalk, and I almost rear ended a delivery truck on I-95 near Baltimore because of it. Who at Honda decided a soft rubber nub was better than a hard plastic ridge that lasts, and why do car makers keep doing this to touch points we use a hundred times a day?
