Always cut my pin backing cards with scissors until a guy at the Raleigh swap meet showed me his stack
I have been trimming every backing card by hand with scissors for 2 years and the edges always looked chewed up. He handed me a cheap $12 corner rounder and in about 20 minutes I redid a whole batch of 60 pins, and the difference in how they sat flat in the bag was night and day. Does anyone else feel like the rounder is almost too easy, or am I missing a reason people still hand cut?
I heard a guy on a craft forum say the same thing, once you get the angle right it's faster than scissors anyway. Some folks hand cut cause they like a slightly rough edge for the handmade look, or they're only doing a few at a time. For 60 pins though, no shot I'd go back to scissors.
