Swapped my steel dies for tungsten after a 2000-press jam streak ended badly

I almost ordered a fancy die cutter attachment for my 3D printed press but stopped myself when I realized my neighbor's old manual crank model could do the same job with a flat head screwdriver and some patience. After 3 hours of trial and error, I found that pressing at a slight angle instead of straight down gave me the cleanest edges on my 58mm badges. The whole setup cost me 12 bucks in hardware store parts versus the 80 dollar upgrade I was about to buy. Anyone else rig up a workaround before dropping cash on new gear?
