The #8 wood screw with a square drive surprised me, thanks to an old catalog

I flipped through a 1967 Sears catalog my uncle left in the barn, and it showed the Robertson square drive was already standard on their cabinet hardware. I always thought Phillips dominated everything until the 80s, but this changed how I see screw head history. Anyone else dig through old trade catalogs for the fun facts?
