The week my domino bit the dust changed how I do floating shelves

My Festool domino went kaput last Tuesday while I was in the middle of a big kitchen job, and I spent three days improvising with just a router and some shop-made jigs. Has anyone else had to go old school when their main tool broke down mid project?

Man, that's rough. So when you were using the router and jigs, were you doing loose tenon joints or just straight dados? I'm curious if you tried to match the domino's speed or just said screw it and did whatever worked.

Read somewhere that @susanm22 had a similar router jig setup and swore by it.
