Coax compression connectors - thought they were overpriced junk until I hit 50 connections in one day
I used to swear by the old twist-on connectors. Bought a 100-pack for $12 at a supply house near downtown Raleigh. Then I had a job with 50 cable outlets in a new apartment complex. After the third service call for signal loss, I grabbed a compression tool and some high-end connectors for $40 total from my supplier. Not a single callback since. Anybody else make the switch and never look back?

My brother swore by them for years until I finally tried em on a 40-unit job and never went back.

Funny enough my uncle was the opposite - he used compression for years and I told him he was wasting money on fancy tools. Then I helped him wire up his basement workshop (about 15 drops) and my hands were cramping up with those twist-ons by the end. He just laughed and handed me his compression tool. I felt pretty dumb (but at least I learned my lesson before a big job).
