Oh man, that's the classic line! Next they'll ask if you can just WD-40 it back to life. That gravel sound is the shutter timing gears screaming for help, not a little dust bunny.

That gravel sound... reminds me of my old car's transmission right before it gave up. Same kind of expensive crunch.

Wait, they actually tell people to use WD-40 on a shutter? That's a new level of bad advice... you'd just make a sticky mess that attracts more dust. The gears would be totally done for.
