Just read that the average person spends 4 years of their life looking at their phone
I saw this stat in a blog post about digital minimalism and it honestly made me freeze. Four whole years. That's longer than I spent in high school. I was sitting there, reading it on my phone of course, and I just started thinking about all the times I pick it up without even thinking. Waiting for coffee, in line at the store, even just sitting on my couch for five minutes. It adds up to a huge chunk of my one life, and I'm just handing it over to an app. It made me really question what I'm designing my days around. How do you guys actually cut down on screen time without feeling like you're missing out?
