I finally upgraded my camp kitchen after a raccoon stole my entire dinner

Honestly, I used to just cook on a basic grate over the fire, but last summer in Yosemite a bold raccoon ran off with a whole pack of hot dogs. Now I use a $40 locking bear-proof cooler and a proper camp stove. Anyone have a better cooler brand that doesn't weigh a ton?

That locking cooler is a smart move. I went a step further and got a small electric fence for my campsite after a bear sniffed around. It sounds extreme, but it's just a portable one that runs on D-cells and gives a light shock. Lets me sleep way easier.
