My buddy bought a crazy expensive sleeping bag for a trip that got rained out. He ended up sleeping on a friend's couch and never even took the tag off. Sometimes the fancy gear just collects dust.

Read an article about how people buy way more camping stuff than they ever use. The fancy gear just sits in the garage.
