Spent 4 hours on a cardboard door latch that took 10 minutes to solve
I was mocking up a cabinet door pull for a shop build and kept overthinking the geometry, drew it five different ways on scrap cardboard before my wife just said 'why not use a bent paperclip?' and honestly the paperclip prototype worked perfectly. Anyone else burn a whole afternoon on a tiny part of a bigger build?

Three hours on drawer slides taught me that masking tape solves 90% of my mockup problems, which is basically the paperclip rule.
