Started noticing this same thing with text messages vs. phone calls honestly. People just respond better when you meet them where they already hang out online, even if it's the same words. Cold emails feel like shouting into the void (I call them digital junk mail now) but a LinkedIn message has that personal touch, like you're actually part of their world instead of interrupting it.

My buddy tried this after months of cold emails going nowhere. First LinkedIn message he sent got a reply in 2 hours.
