Thought long waits for feedback were pointless until last month

I used to get upset when my manager took weeks to reply on project reviews. Then she pointed out how my rushed work had small errors each time. Now I use the wait to double-check everything myself. The delay actually makes my final submissions stronger.

Building a personal checklist during those waiting periods helps too. Structured reviews catch different errors than quick glances. What kind of stuff usually ends up on your re-check list?

Actually, my last job had the same kind of feedback delays. From what I saw, that waiting period became my chance to run a second check on everything. Now I make a habit of using the extra time to find my own errors first. It honestly cuts down on the back and forth later. Your mileage may vary, but turning that wait into a review step really upped my quality.
