Blew $200 on a fancy track saw guide rail that bent on me after two uses

I picked up this aluminum guide rail from a big box store near my shop in Reno, thought it would save me time on long rips. Second time using it, I noticed the edge was slightly bowed, and every cut came out wobbly. I tried clamping it down different ways but the rail was just warped from the start. Anyone else had luck with a specific brand of track saw guide that actually stays straight?

That sucks, nothing worse than gear that lets you down right away. Hope you can get a refund or warranty replacement on it.

Have you considered checking if your workbench surface is perfectly flat before blaming the rail entirely? I've seen plenty of guys chase a perfect cut when the real problem was the table, not the guide. A little twist in the base can make even a good rail look bent.
