Vent: I ran the same job with two different coolant mixes and the results were night and day

Last week I was cutting a batch of 4140 steel parts. The first half I used our shop's standard 5% mix. The finish was okay, but I got some built-up edge and the inserts wore out after about 30 parts. For the second half, I bumped the concentration to 8% like an old timer suggested. The finish was way cleaner, the chips broke better, and I ran 50 parts before even thinking about the tool. Has anyone else found a sweet spot for coolant concentration on tougher materials?

PSA: I had to pick between a free online course and a paid local workshop for learning basic SEO.

The free one was from a big university, but the $200 workshop was in my city and promised hands-on help. I went with the local class last month, and the instructor spent an hour fixing my site's meta descriptions. It was way better than just watching videos alone. Has anyone else found that in-person stuff is worth the extra cost for this kind of learning?

Cassette tapes are making a huge comeback in my local indie scene

I keep noticing more and more bands releasing their stuff on cassettes instead of just digital. It's not just the older groups, new acts are doing it too. For example, this band Static Waves sold out their tape run in like two days. I think fans dig having a physical thing that's cheap and kinda retro. It adds something special compared to just another Spotify link. My friend's band just pressed their demo on tape and it's doing really well. Makes me wonder if CDs are next or if we'll skip right to vinyl again.
