Hit 150 flue cleanings in a single month last week

I kept track out of curiosity and hit 150 cleanings during November. Most I ever did before was around 90. That number shocked me because I didn't feel like I was rushing or cutting corners. Anybody else ever tally up a monthly count and surprise themselves?

Records are weird like that. My brother in law does plumbing and he tracked his calls one summer thinking he was slow and it turned out he did like 180 service calls in July. He said he almost didn't believe the numbers because it felt like he was just sitting around waiting half the time. I think we just remember the slow moments more than the busy ones because the busy ones blur together. Plus when you're in the zone you don't really notice the stack of work getting done. It's kinda funny how our brains trick us into thinking we're slacking when the numbers say the opposite.

Pulled up my own cleaning records for last year and found out I did 132 furnace filter changes in December alone. Couldn't believe it because I definitely felt like I was slacking some days with the holiday rush. That number puts things in perspective though, makes me realize how steady the work actually is even when it doesn't feel that way. Kind of motivating to see the real number sitting there in the spreadsheet.
