Just hit 6 clients in one month, that's when the red flags showed up

I'm a part-time freelance designer and last month I landed my 6th client in a single stretch, which felt great until three of them started acting weird. One kept asking for 'quick tweaks' at 10pm that were never quick, another asked me to send over my working files 'just to check' before paying the second half of the invoice. The third one in Denver changed the project scope three times without offering to adjust the rate. Has anyone else noticed that the busier you get, the more entitled the clients get, or is it just me?

Ugh, the Denver one is the classic move, huh? Scope creep is real, but three times without a peep about money is a huge red flag. I gotta ask, did you actually send those working files to the second client, and if so, did you put a watermark on them or anything? Because "just to check" usually means "I'm about to ghost you and use this elsewhere." The 10pm tweaks thing is just people testing your boundaries, but that file request is the one that would've made me stop and have a serious talk before I sent anything.
