Why does nobody talk about clients who time their feedback poorly

I used to accept any revision request at face value, even when it came in at 11 PM on a Sunday for a logo I delivered two weeks prior. After three months of this with one client in Austin, they kept moving the goalposts and I ended up redoing the same butterfly sketch seven times. Has anyone else started charging a late revision fee or just drawing a hard cutoff after the first week?

Ugh, I mean I get that it's annoying, but I see it from the other side too. Design isn't like a burger you eat once and it's done, it's kind of a back and forth thing where people need time to sit with it and show their team. I've had clients come back after a week with really solid notes that made the work way better, and I'd have been mad if I'd locked them out. Maybe it's just me, but charging a fee for slow feedback feels like you're punishing them for caring enough to get it right.
