That $300 rush charge for a same-day reprint still stings
I argued with the print shop manager for 20 minutes when they told me my file was in RGB. I was sure I saved it in CMYK from Illustrator. Turned out I had a proofing profile set wrong and everything came out super washed. Wasted $300 on a rush reprint because I needed 500 flyers for a Friday event. The manager even showed me the color difference on their monitor and I still didn't believe him. Anyone else ever fight a proof only to lose money and look dumb a few hours later?

Jumped on a call with my buddy Mark last week who runs a small merch brand. @jennifer_fisher I hear you on RGB files being fine sometimes, but Mark learned that lesson the hard way too. He sent a batch of hoodies to a screenprinter and argued for an hour that his neon green was supposed to be way brighter. The printer even did a test print to show him it had to use a different ink mix. Mark refused to pay for the remake until his client saw the washed-out version and backed out of the order. Ended up having to eat the whole cost of the first print and pay for a redo anyway.
