The poster printer at my old office still haunts me
Walked into a print shop near Cleveland last month and they had the same HP DesignJet model we used back in 2007. That thing turned every RGB teal into a muddy green, no matter how many curves I pulled. I remember spending 6 hours before a trade show trying to match a logo, only for the final banner to come out looking like swamp water. The shop owner said they keep it for proofing because it's brutally honest about color shifts. Do you ever miss those old machines that showed every flaw, or do you prefer the newer ones that hide problems until the big run?

That swamp water logo story is painfully familiar. Honestly, yeah, I kinda miss that brutal honesty. New printers are just slick liars until the deadline hits.
