Got a used V60 from a garage sale and the brewer was the easy part

The real struggle was dialing in my grind size, I wasted about 2 pounds of beans over 4 days before I realized my old grinder was way off for pour overs. Anyone else switch brewers and have to relearn everything from scratch?

Burn through a whole bag of beans before I noticed my grinder was set for espresso while I was trying to make a drip brew. Took me three days of bitter cups and a lot of swearing to finally check the settings. Now I keep a little sticky note on the grinder that says "pour over, dummy" so I don't repeat my mistakes.
