Picked a $25 pour-over kettle over the $120 one, surprised by the result
Been using a cheap gooseneck from a discount store for 6 months now after almost caving on a fancy electric one I saw at a shop in Portland. My buddy swore the expensive one would change my pour consistency, but honestly the only real difference I notice is the spout shape, not the price tag. I do have to watch the temp with a separate thermometer, which adds maybe 30 seconds to my routine. Has anyone else gone budget on gear like this and found it works fine, or am I just missing something the expensive stuff does better?
