Showerthought: I rinsed my French press with hot tap water for a month and the taste got worse
For years I just rinsed my French press with hot tap water and called it clean, but about 6 weeks ago I started doing a full soap wash and rinse every morning after reading a post on here. The coffee stopped tasting flat and muddy, and I realized old oils were coating the mesh the whole time. Does anyone else wash their press daily or is that overkill?
