Went from a $4 blade grinder to a hand mill and my Sunday cup finally tastes right
For about 3 years I used the same cheap blade grinder my roommate left behind in our Chicago apartment. It chopped the beans into dust and chunks at the same time, and I just lived with it. Last month a coworker gave me his old hand mill after he upgraded, and the even grind made my usual medium roast taste way less bitter. Now I spend about 90 seconds cranking it every morning and honestly don't mind it. Has anyone else switched to a hand grinder and found the arm workout worth the better cup?
