A friend said my logo colors looked 'sick' in a bad way
I was showing a friend a new logo I made for a local cafe. He looked at it for a second and said, 'Those colors look kind of sick.' I thought he meant cool, but he clarified he meant it looked unwell, like a bad cold. The palette was a pale green and a muted yellow. I had pulled them from a photo of old paint cans, thinking they looked vintage. Hearing that really made me stop. I spent a whole afternoon on that palette, but I was so close to it I missed how it could feel off. Now I'm rethinking the whole set. Has anyone else had a color combo totally misinterpreted? How do you check if your palette sends the wrong vibe?

Honestly, one friend's opinion on a pale green and yellow combo isn't a full market study. Tbh, colors look different to everyone and on every screen. I'd get a few more opinions before you scrap the whole thing.

Right? My monitor makes everything look way more blue than it really is. Had the same thing happen picking out a couch color last month.
