My client palettes used to take 2 weeks, now one $8 color wheel from Blick does it in an afternoon
I used to pull hex codes from Pinterest boards and spend days tweaking swatches in Illustrator until they felt right. Last Tuesday a designer at a Denver meetup showed me her $8 physical color wheel and I matched a full 5 color brand palette to it in about 3 hours. Does anyone else still use analog tools for picking colors or am I just late to this?

Read that Pantone swatches still beat screens for print work.
