Dropped $140 on a facsimile edition and the cover art was flipped wrong
Bought that X-Men #1 facsimile from a booth at a Philly con, looked great in the bag but when I got home the cover colors were off, like the printer swapped the yellow and orange. Has anyone else gotten burned by those fancy reprints or am I just cursed with bad luck?

The yellow and orange swap thing sounds more like a bad print run than a swap, but either way its on the printer not you. Facsimile covers get color corrected all the time and sometimes the shop doing the reprint just botches the plates. Marvel has done a few runs where the whole batch came out with the wrong shade and they never said a word about it. Check the inside indicia page, if the print code matches a known bad batch you can probably get a refund or a replacement from whoever ran the booth. $140 is steep for a reprint anyway, real copies of that book in low grade go for less than that some days.
