Switched to a different comms unit after a job in the Puget Sound

I used to think the old hardwire comms were fine, but last month on a salvage job near Tacoma, my buddy's wireless system let him talk to topside while I was stuck with hand signals. The clarity was way better, and he could move around the whole wreck without a tether. I'm looking at the Ocean Reef Neptune now. Anyone have a good wireless setup they like for murky water?

Yeah, the Neptune's solid for that kind of murk.

I ran my Neptune with a 20-pound downrigger ball last season and it held bottom in 200 feet of green water no problem. The wire cable is a game changer compared to braid in the current.
