Spent 3 hours last Tuesday chasing a phantom network drop at a dentist's office in Riverside
Customer said their front desk PC kept losing connection every 20 minutes or so, so I swapped the cable, the switch port, even ran a new run through the ceiling, and nothing fixed it. Turned out the cleaning crew was unplugging the space heater from the same outlet as the modem every night to plug in their vacuum, and the breaker was weak enough that it was tripping for a second whenever it kicked on. How do you all handle customers who swear nothing changed on their end when it clearly did?

My buddy found a shop vac plugged into his UPS killing the modem every night.
