Dropped $1,800 on a walk-behind edger for driveways, saved my back but not my wallet
Bought a used 24 inch edger off a guy in Fresno for $1,800 about 4 months ago and it cut my driveway time from 3 hours to 45 minutes. Problem is it eats blades like crazy on old cracked concrete and I've already put $300 into replacements. Anyone found a blade that actually lasts on rough pours or am I just stuck eating the cost?
Kinda fits the same pattern as everything else right, the thing that saves you time always finds a way to bleed you somewhere else. My pressure washer eats nozzles on my old patio the same way. Have you tried the segmented diamond blades or are those too pricey for what you're doing?
