TIL the moon landing footage had a weird delay that supposedly proves it was faked

I was watching this documentary on YouTube last night and they showed the original NASA broadcast. There's this 2 second gap between when the astronauts talk and when Mission Control responds. Conspiracy people say that's proof they were on a sound stage with fake radio delays. But NASA says it was just standard protocol for them to pause before answering. I don't know what to think anymore. Has anyone else gone down this rabbit hole and found actual proof either way?

Wait, were you trying to get perfect sear marks with a precise timing method or just keep the ribs from burning? I've learned the hard way that a stopwatch makes everything worse, better to just trust your gut and flip when it looks right.
