Warning: I got called a 'controlled opposition plant' for pushing back on the flat earth stuff too hard

A guy in the comments section of a video last month said my fact-based debunking was 'too clean' and just meant to make skeptics look reasonable, so now I lead with asking what proof would actually change their mind, which gets way more interesting arguments.

Wait, they said your debunking was "too clean"? That's a new one. Like, what, you did your homework too well so it must be fake? That logic is just wild to me.

Honestly I used to try and win those arguments with pure facts. Like if I just showed enough evidence they'd have to see it. But that just makes people dig in deeper, you know? Now I just ask what it would take to change their mind. Most of the time they can't even answer, which tells you everything. It's not about the facts for them, it's about the feeling of being in the know.
