Hot take: My $4,000 spray foam insulation was either the best or worst money I've spent on my container.
It sealed everything up tight and cut my heating bill in half, but the smell took almost two months to fully go away. Anyone else have a big spend that paid off big or came with a nasty surprise?

The long term off gassing is a real concern. My neighbor did his whole attic and the smell came back the next summer when it got hot. Had to run air purifiers for weeks. Makes you wonder about the stuff you can't smell anymore, too.
